A Note From the Curator
I would first like to preface this by noting that I am writing from the perspective of an Interloper, and while many of these things are ones that I have determined empirically, the fact remains that I am an outsider especially to cultural matters like the superstitions surrounding many of these events and topics, which I cannot promise to ever have a full understanding of by nature of my origin. On the other hand, I have no hand in any of the politics of these nations and hope I can present a more objective explanation of some of the periods which have shaped the zeitgeist of the contemporary Central Continent.
Now, my interest in the Continent, known in their native languages to be called "Lesemtas," which can be literally translated as "Middle Place," has been spanning a rather large portion of time now by account of my perception of it versus their's, and so I can recount my understanding of the eras from the end of the fall of the southern clans to the present day, which span approximately a thousand years. For various reasons, I find that there has been limited documentation of much of these histories both among my kind and the people of the Continent themselves, and so it pains me to see knowledge of the incredibly fascinating progression of these peoples quickly fading away.
"Eil Kolen" is a phrase in the old Vaelniersam language that means roughly "Being Together." And so, I offer up the pieces of what I can provide from my time together with that world.
